A bit about me and my work

Hey, glad you could make it all the way to this section. I am Jaime, a freelance digital designer currently based in one of the most user-friendly cities in the world: Singapore (where I recently got my PR 🎉 ).

With over 12 years of experience, I help companies improve their Digital Transformation journey through (mostly) UI and UX design, UX Research, CRO and Branding.

Lead Experience Designer

-> In charge of building a team that will provide UI/UX design support to our clients in the South East Asia region.

-> Identified a lack of SOP within the UI/UX team and took on the challenge in introducing a process and tools that are scalable to the rest of the company.

-> Established the art direction for the company’s new business unit Synpulse 8.

-> Working on projects that go from creating or optimising onboarding flows, as well as designing new functionalities from scratch.

-> Shaping the team’s roadmap through clear communication and timely feedback that brought individual and teamwork improvement.

-> Collaborating across engineering, business and other teams to polish the final product experience, as well as the team collaboration processes.

Lead UI/UX Designer

-> Led a team of UI and UX designers by providing guidance in their research, mockups and designs in order to ensure quality results.

-> Made people-centered design decisions that were backed up by data from different sources (eg. heatmaps, Google Analytics).

-> Ensured that the visual expression of the websites for each of the 4 main brands of the company (Coco & Eve, Sand & Sky, SkinnyMint and BodyBoss) was consistent throughout the experience.

Chief Creative Officer

-> Created an entire brand as well as its visual expression. From product packaging to business cards, as well as showroom designs.

-> Established a complete new product lineup, sourcing from different factories and cities within mainland China.

-> Created a social and marketing strategy to build the brand presence in its target market (South America), where we managed to surpass our sales projections by 20% in the first year of operation.

Creative Director

-> Managed a team of creative, graphic and print designers for ATL and BTL campaigns for Citibank, Whirlpool, Purina, Nestle, Nokia as well as local businesses.

-> Spearheaded the digital marketing unit within the agency, managing to provide a full suite service for our clients.

-> Created one of the first augmented reality tools for veterinarians in the country, as part of a promotional campaign for premium dog food brand ProPlan.
